Course Objectives: This course offers an advanced introduction to the dynamics and some enduring problems of the Albanian economy. The course is designed for students who are interested in economic issues of Albanian economy. The course will analyses and study the political and economic situation of Albania.

1 Students will be able to analyze current political and economic issues in Albania, and critically evaluate the policy options.
2 Evaluate the impact of the European Union on these in Albanian economy.
3 Learn about the labor market, employment and unemployment.
4 Analyze the impact of the financial crisis.
5 Compare and analyze the current situation of the Albanian economy with other countries of the Balkan region.
