Course Description:	This is a master level course. This course will provide an in-depth introduction to the public policy study from the political science perspective and examine its practical application in the study of the European Union (EU). This course aims to explain and use the main concepts and approaches in public policy analysis; to discuss their application to the EU policy process and the specific policy areas; and to assess the EU's policy process on the basis of empirical and normative analysis. At the end of this course students are expected to demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of developments in public policy analysis and the insights that they offer into European Union governance.
Course Objectives:	The course has for the objective to equip students with knowledge and competences in dealing with public policy at the EU multilevel governance, to study public policy of the EU from scientific and theoretical perspectives, and to specialize their understanding of public policy at the EU level within a broad current understanding of European integration.
