Course Description: This course helps students to better understand the complexities of managing people in organizations, with primary focus on human resource management strategy, organizational staffing, human resource development, total rewards, employee and labor relations, and risk management in a globalizing world. It focuses on the strategic, operational and administrative roles of human resource management.
Course Objectives: (1) To present the fundamental principles and techniques of personnel management and examine the management of human resources; (2) To examine the responsibilities of organizational leadership for incorporating human resource issues in strategic planning and initiatives; (3) to examine current legal considerations, issues and research
