Course Description: -
Course Objectives: The course offers advanced training in International Relations Theory. It considers the development of international relations theories and the main approaches and theories to international relations. It provides advanced understanding of the development and content of the theoretical perspectives. The course links the content of each theory to a contemporary problem and issue in international relations. Each week, a different theory of the international relations is examined. The course aims to examine critically the different strands of international relations theories. It aims to provide students with advanced understanding of theories that relate to discipline of International Relations. The course aims to provide students with skills to apply the International Relations theories in their PhD dissertations and in preparing research papers.
