Course Description: This course aims to prepare the senior students to the market conditions that they will experience after graduation: Defines the role of the architect through economic, social and cultural parameters of the market structure; investigates the rules and regulations affecting the architect’s services in both the private and the government sectors.
Course Objectives: This course aims to prepare the senior students for the market conditions that they will experience after graduation: tries to define the role of the architect through economic, social and cultural parameters of the market structure; to investigate the rules and regulations affecting the architect’s services in both the private and government sectors. In addition, through this course a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary approach to real estate education addressing all facets of the industry from planning to property management, finance to construction will be provided. During this course students are to: 1. become acquainted with the laws, rules, regulations and procedures which form part of the framework architects have to apply in their day to day performance in Albania; 2. discover the potential of the market (related to the field of architecture) and how to creatively respond to it, in terms of building healthy and responsibility based relationships with client and authority; 3. develop skills of presenting and representing personal values, attributes and skills.4.get acquainted to the notion of real estate, and all facets of the industry from planning to property management, finance to construction
