Course Description: This course aims to increase student’s knowledge and understanding of Albanian economy. Albanian economy went to a process of transition from a centrally planned economy to a market economy and it is still considered as a transition country. The economy is dominated by agriculture but service and tourism are very important. This course will cover macroeconomic as well as sectorial topics and will introduce students with the current situation of the economy.

11 Remittances as an important factor of Albanian economy

13 Growth, productivity and employment in agriculture
