Course Description: Need of building materials, definition and development, general qualifications, timber, natural stone, metals and alloys, soil and clay (ceramic materials), glass, lime, plaster, cement, aggregate, mixtures mortar and concrete), synthetics, paintings.
Course Objectives: The objective of this course is to equip Architecture students with sufficient knowledge related to the properties of materials they are going to involve in the design projects and to solve problems related to the specified building types
