Course Objectives: Introducing students to notions of climatic systems, climate change and global warming, energy and environment, sustainable planning and settlement design; presenting to the students the concepts and principles of energy-effective and ecological approach to planning and architecture as well as its application into architectural and urban design, with a survey and analysis of cases, projects and recent achievements worldwide.
