Course Description: | Financial statements analysis for managerial staff is a course which aims to analyze and interpret financial statements from the view points of common stock holders, creditors and others, explain the interaction among the financial statements and ratios. This class includes topics of vertical and horizontal analyses, financial ratio analysis, and trend analysis and balance scorecard. Once students have the acquired knowledge the financial statement analysis they will have to prepare presentation and case studies. At the end, students will be able to analyze and interpret financial statements according to relevant information needed for equity analysis and credit analysis. |
