Course Description: | The objective of this course is to develop reading, speaking and writing skills of students in French language. |
Course Objectives: | • This course is an introduction to the French language, and proposes activities that enable students to achieve competencies of understanding and written expression, at A1 and A2 level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference. Comprehension of simple texts and answering questions on them. To know how to introduce yourself, to describe your work, talk about tastes and hobbies and describe the past. How to write a postcard. Responding to simple and practical things. To communicate confidently on a basic level in everyday situations. Developing essential speaking, listening, reading and writing skills as well as a solid understanding of the structure of the language. |

2 | Dossier 1: Leçon 1: Greetings, contacts, to introduce oneself. GRAMMAR: Verb “to have” in present tense, the negation, definite article, possessive adjectives. PHONETIC: Voice downlink – uplink. Exercises – Student book. |
3 | Dossier 1: Leçon 2: Request information. Questioning on the identity. Understanding / give coordinates. GRAMMAR: Indefinite article, Interrogative adjective. Months of the year. Numbers 70 to 99. Exercises. |
