COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
Acquiring theoretical knowledge on the concept and recent policies on urban transition, including sustainable development, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, urban greening and NBS, with a focus on urban planning application
Integrating urban transition knowledge to urban planning and design, in particular mitigation and adaptation strategies and measures transferred to the built environments in urban regeneration projects.
Learning and applying design tools and software for spatial analysis and mapping of urban energy and climate.
The awareness to pay due attention to environmental conditions, not only as design requirements but also with respect for cultural, natural and moral values
