The Department of Architecture (ARCH) is part of the Faculty of Architecture at EPOKA University. EPOKA is a private university, ranked among the top universities in Albania and one of the most competitive in the Western Balkans. Job Description

The Department of Architecture is seeking one full-time Lecturer in Interior Design. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong academic and professional background in Interior Design, as well as experience in teaching studio-based and technical courses at the postgraduate level. The successful candidate will be primarily involved in the Master of Science in Interior Design program. Applicants should preferably have experience teaching in the following areas:

Specialization in Interior Design

  • Interior Design Studio (graduate level)
  • Lighting Design for Interiors
  • Acoustics in Interior Spaces
  • Finishing Materials
  • Sustainable Design in Interior Design
  • Other relevant courses within the MSc Interior Design program

*The selected lecturer is expected to contribute to supervising Master’s theses within the MSc Interior Design program. *

The candidate will be responsible for conducting and delivering research, whilst driving the development and delivery of the course. In addition, the candidate will act as an academic advisor and tutor to students as needed, including as an academic advisor for student clubs, Master’s thesis supervision, preparation of re-accreditation reports, and other administrative tasks in collaboration with other members of the department.

Qualification Requirements

Candidates must hold a PhD degree from a leading institution in Interior Design or a closely related field and have an established record of excellence in teaching and research within the advertised discipline. They should be fluent in English, as their teaching responsibilities will be exclusively in English.
