The Department of Architecture (ARCH) is part of the Faculty of Architecture at EPOKA University. EPOKA is a private university, ranked among the top universities in Albania and one of the most competitive in the Western Balkans. The Department of Architecture at EPOKA University prepares students for critical engagement with practice and ensures readiness for professional responsibilities. Our department’s vision is to offer a leading Architecture program in Albania and the Balkan region. Job Description
The Department of Architecture is seeking one full-time Lecturer with a specialization in Urban Planning and Design, with additional competency in Architectural Design. We are most interested in candidates with experience in teaching a wide range of planning and design courses. Lecturers are preferred to have experience in teaching, respectively:
Specialization in Urban Planning and Design
- Urban Planning Theory and Practice
- Urban Design
- Sustainable Urban Development
- Housing and Settlement Planning
- GIS and Spatial Analysis
- Architectural Design Studio
*The selected lecturer is expected also to contribute to supervising Master’s theses.*
The candidate will be responsible for conducting and delivering research, whilst driving course development and delivery. In addition, the candidate will act as an academic advisor and tutor to students as needed, including as an academic advisor for student clubs, Master’s thesis supervision, preparation of re-accreditation reports, and other administrative tasks in collaboration with other members of the department.

Qualification Requirements
Candidates must hold a PhD degree from a leading institution and have an established record of excellence in teaching and research within the advertised discipline. They should be fluent in English, as their teaching responsibilities will be exclusively in English.
